Pastoral
Team for Old St. Mary, Our Lady of Divine
Fr. Tim Kitzke - Fr. Brian
Mason, Moderator - Fr. Michael Michalski
Memorial Day This
past Lenten season, in our four parishes, we supported an alms project
that reached out to our veterans at Dryhootch on Brady Street. Through
that partnership, it was discovered that we needed to reach out even
further to enlisted persons and their families, to care for the
spiritual welfare of veterans, and to bring us all together in the
Eucharist. Our Lenten alms and outreach did not stop on Easter Sunday. As
a community who professes our belief in Christ’s resurrection,
the communion of saints, and in life everlasting, we always pray for
the dead each time we gather for Eucharist. On Memorial Day we do the
same, recalling our fallen heroes. As a grateful nation, we remember
the sacrifices made to grant us the freedoms we now enjoy. On Memorial Day, the
Eucharist will be celebrated and the sacrifice of the Mass will be
offered for the sacrifice made by our fallen soldiers. Join us as we
pray together, as grateful citizens, remembering their sacrifice. Music Ministry at Old St. Mary Parish Automatic Withdrawal for Contributions Riverwest Food Pantry ~ To love the poor is to love Christ. Staff
