Habitat for Humanity 2009 Weekend Blitz

June 22–26, 2009—Old Saint Mary and Three Holy Women Parishes are completely sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity House this year—providing both the finances and the labor required to help the Ruffin family build a home.

We kicked off the project with the Weekend Blitz. The Ruffins and nineteen parishioners worked 432 hours in five days to turn an empty lot to the shell of a home. Frames, shingles, and siding - MUCH ACCOMPLISHED!
