December 8 is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the patroness of the United States. Besides praying for our country, we will be praying for women and issues of conception:
women who struggle to conceive a child,
who suffering miscarriage,
and who mourn the death of an infant.
These sad experiences often go “hidden” among us, as many feel shame or guilt and choose to remain silent about their pain. The Mass on December 8 at 6:30 pm will include an anointing of women who have endured any of these hurts. Please invite your family and friends to attend as we pray especially for healing in the lives of women who bear such pain in their lives.
